The IAVA provides vocal training for exceptional young artists. Our vocal program consists of instruction, including core training for the body as a musical instrument, breathing technique to support thevoice, and ongoing study of classical vocal repertoire. IAVA helps students to develop stage presence by participating in student concerts and productions by local companies. Students also perform in concerts for non-profits and charities.

IAVA participants have been accepted on scholarship to vocal programs of the best universities in the country, including Manhattan School of Music, UC Santa Barbara, Music Academy of the West, Pepperdine University, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, UCLA and others.

Young singers participate in masterclasses and workshops all around the world, with famous opera singers and vocal coaches of the highest professional level at such prestigious programs and festivals as Boston University Tanglewood Institute, American-Israel Vocal Institute, Young Artists Program of Santa Fe Opera, and Florida Grand Opera, Virginia Opera Summer Program and Bel Canto Tuscany.
